hot honey garlic chicken tenders 🔥🍯✨ - crispy, golden brown tenders coated in a garlicky sweet and spicy sauce is pure perfection with each bite! what you’ll need: Chicken Tenders Dry Mixture • 1 1/2 cups flour • 1/4 cup corn starch • 1 tsp baking powder • 1 tsp salt • 1/2 smoked paprika • 1/2 tsp garlic powder • 1/2 tsp onion powder • 1/2 tsp black pepper Wet Mixture • 1 1/2 pound chicken tenders • 1 cup buttermilk • 2 tbsp hot sauce • 1/2 tsp salt • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika • 1/4 tsp black pepper • 1/4 tsp garlic powder • 1/4 tsp onion powder • 2-3 cups neutral oil, for frying Hot Honey Garlic Sauce • 1/2 cup hot sauce • 1/2 cup honey • 2 tbsp butter • 4 garlic cloves, minced • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper here’s how to make it: Chicken Tenders - In a bowl, mix together the tenders and all of the wet mixture ingredients (except for the oil). Cover and marinade for 1-4 hours or overnight in the fridge. In a separate bowl, whisk together all of the dry mixture ingredients. Mix in 2-3 tbsp of the wet mixture to form a crumbly texture. Individually, coat each tender in the dry mixture. Transfer to a wire rack to rest for 10-12 min. Heat oil in a frying pan to 350F. In batches, fry the tenders, 3-4 min per side or until golden brown. Transfer to paper towel lined baking sheet. Hot Honey Garlic Sauce - in a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add and sauté the garlic until fragrant, 1-2 min. Pour in the hot sauce, honey and spices. Stir to combine and bring to a low boil. Cook sauce for 4-5 min while stirring to thicken up slightly. Remove from heat. Set aside. Assembly - place fried tenders in a large bowl. Pour sauce over tenders and mix to coat.
