You can thank corporate greed for this. They use every excuse to raise prices sky high, then lower them a little once the dust settles. The problem is the prices never return to the old normal, it just lowers a bit below the peak. Every company does it because they can. No one will stop them

I was born and lived most of my life in Illinois and know that Illinois is one of the highest taxed state in the United States. It's more of a Democrat greed , I have moved a few years ago and although this effects everyone, but it is better living in other states. Recommend if possible move out of that state. Stay Strong 💪
