My problem is I spend more time trying to figure out the best way to make a study guide than actually studying it. I have used every platform. I just don’t know what to focus on when I have like 150 pages of notes a week for tests in 3 classes

I have also found it super hard to listen to the lectures and not “rewrite the slides.” I like to listen, then take notes of what stuck out and relisten to the lectures if they’re posted after class.

I download the PowerPoints and upload it to Study Fetch. Then I generate notes and add whatever extra information Study Fetch gives me into the PowerPoint slides. After that I do practice questions but I make sure I get the rationales to the answers.

Most of the times I would just sit out there and listen because every single time Professor is teaching and then I try to jot down points. I don’t get what is being talked about, so I’d rather listen to the lecture and study on my own using ChatGPT.

Hey! I’m currently deciding between two nursing programs and would really appreciate your opinion as a nurse/student. I live in Brooklyn, NY and I’m choosing between Stony Brook University and Mercy University. Stony Brook is about $26k before loans (around $20k after), while Mercy is about $2k for tuition but housing is separate, bringing it to roughly $18k before loans. I’m mainly deciding because Stony Brook is considered a more rigorous and higher-ranked program, but Mercy is more affordable and still has a solid nursing program. From your perspective, do you think the difference in school/program reputation and rigor is worth the cost difference? Any advice would really help. Thank you!
