my tattoo artist tells me that tips are optional and she loves when people are creative with their tipss. so i still try to tip but the last two times her tip was an antique punch needled artwork and the other time was a gift basket plus lunch

I one time was not able to leave a tip for a tattoo because my car had to be towed and I got a ride to the shop seeing as it was a non refundable deposit and well I’ve tried calling, texting and messaging on messenger all I do I get left on read 😂 I get it I messed up not leaving one but it was literally a $140 tattoo and $100 was the down deposit

I have to tell my artist every time that my anxiety is so bad I shake a teeny tiny bit so uncontrollably and usually they're super sweet about it !

My artist made me feel a lot more comfortable because I was saving up for her for a while and we still have a few sessions to go and can’t really afford to tip but she told me she charges enough that tips are never needed
