@stepsandstocks: 2/14/2026 I was able to make $1700 selling options last week. Most of this money came from rolling my Sofi cash secured, puts out a few months. I was also able to make $416 on my AMD swing trade. ##stockmarket #AMD #optionstrader #options #optiontrading
Is your swing trading usually taking a 5% profit each time? I sold calls this week on AMD, AVGO, NVDA and usually avoid PLTR but sold a csp on it last 2 weeks. All just one contract each and only taking 1.1% premium. Trying to be a little safer with this market.

You mention your trading profits often. Have you ever posted verified statements to back it up?

SOFI is a nightmare right now. I share your pain. I've been doing well over the past several weeks selling CSPs on LABU and WDC.

Does your weekly pnl take into account the realized loss on the roll of the underwater options?

If you keep doing what you doing you will blow up your account because, 1. You ignore losses on stocks you own but you pay attention to premiums received from selling CSP, 2. You sell CSP on NDVA when volatility on those puts goes up by the day because the stock is going toward earnings .( professionals don’t sell options on stock that are near earnings)3. You sell options on stocks with significant Beta above 2, and that’s dangerous for your account P&L .4. Pay attention to SOFI, it makes very risky consumer loans and SOFI bad debt could skyrocket in next quarter and if that’s happen the bank have to put aside collateral for bad debt and that could bring the price under $10, which in my opinion it is the price where SOFI belongs.

You’re doing a high Delta on NVDA? What DTE are you running? Weekly or Monthly?

I hate rolling puts or calls out to June. I have one on INTC expiring June. same reason as you to get a credit.

I got assigned this week. Sold bad HOOD puts. I even rolled them still got assigned. The covered calls would be worthless so I’ll either get rid of them completely or just hold them and hope they recover. Just part of the game.

Can you explain the difference between options & swing trading. I’ve been buying back my CCs on stocks I have that are down and selling another covered call lower than my CB. watching carefully for spikes to roll if needed

For sofi I have some puts @25 and 20 that I’ve had to roll out to Feb end..weighing whether it’s worth it for me to take assignment or just keep rolling at this point. I’m going to continue selling weekly puts on sofi just to make some premium
