It's not that cops don't know the law or the constitution, they simply just don't care. They know they won't be held accountable, they won't be held responsible, they won't pay from their own pockets. 1. End qualified immunity. 2.Make cops get personal liability insurance. 3. Minimum 2 years training 4. Minimum qualification of a diploma in constitutional law. 5. If a police dog give 3 false indicators he should be retired and if a cop makes 3 arrests and they turn out to be false they should be retrained and made pay for it themselves. 6. If a cop leaves, retires or gets fired his certification should be cancelled it should not be transferred and must reapply to work in another department.

If this is the end of the story then these officers won in this situation. Far too common that they do these things and waste your time and possibly money and then they have zero repercussions.
