polishing is scratching, just at a different scale. Anything that won’t scratch steel is likely not ha m enough to remove baked on grease.

I'm weird, I put foil or parchment down first, cook, throw away foil or paper, never need to clean the sheet, chicken, pork, beef, veggies, cookies, bread. 🤷‍♂️

Submerge it in hot water and dishwasher detergent, like cascade, let it soak overnight. The next day, scrub it clean with a new Scotch Brite pad.

I just buy the stainless steel scrubbers, like large steel wool. My cookware looks great. Every 4 months or so ill polish em up, but everyday clean those scrubbers are legit and last a long while.

Dang girl, you can scrub a pan, I’m gonna give you that 😂😂 I bought one real expensive set of cookie sheets and learned to never do that again. I love my toaster oven but it’s hell on pans.
