I want to move on but so much misinformation going around and the Miss Pacific secretariat should explain better - but Fiji did not have 5 judges who decided the winner. The 5 judges who chose the overall winner are the main judges. They are: 1. Dr Biurata Eti Tofinga (Kiribati) 2. Dr Kasanita Nayasi (Fiji) 3. Antonina Browne (Cook Is) 4. Hilda Loii Mondo (PNG) 5. Rosalind Polu (American Samoa) These 5 main judges are approved by the board and the Miss Pacific secretariat can explain better on the process. Then there are 3 specialised judges for Sarong/Traditional wear etc. Those 3 were: Cocker - Tonga Shivanjani - Fiji Solvalu - Fiji They only decide on the specialised areas. That is only where their tallies matter. Their points dont count to the overall winner. The Chief Judge is only a coordinator. They dont judge, only make sure of timing, rules and things are adhered to. That was Rajnel from Fiji. They are nothing when it comes to judging. That is why you see his name second last from the bottom. The Scrutineer is the auditor. I saw someone from somewhere saying there was no auditor. Its written right there - scrutineer. That was Sandip from Fiji. The 5 main judges are the main people and they are from 5 different countries. They decide the overall winner. If you have issues with that - please take it up with the Miss Pacific Secretariat and Board - because everything is monitored by a board member and the Police.
