@photogsteve81: This appears to have been a successful operation conducted with CPS & KCSO. While other investigations may also be happening, what prompted last nights action, was a death investigation, on Thursday night, due to a possible overdose. Deputies on scene, observed concerning conditions, prompting them bring in CPS, and subsequently request warrants to enter the property and take custody of the children (ages 1-10). That then came together on scene last night. This will have many more chapters to come. While this most likely is the best situation for th children going forward, it's still very traumatic, as these kids were removed from the only constant they've known. #news #info #update #cps

I think CPS should be held accountable too. If this house is well known in the community, to CPS, to the police, they should have taken those kids a lot earlier than they did. CPS turns a blind eye too often.

Washington State doesn't protect children here. Yes these children will be in protected custody. There parents will be offered services and then will be returned to the parents. So then the cycle starts again. Kiro 7 News did a investigation on a 9yr old boy who was living in a tent off Aurora. The boy had to sit outside a tent while listening to his mother having sex. Multiple people had called in about this child who was not clean, hadn't eaten and not going to school. this is a sad situation for these children.
