I take a wetted down cotton ball or tissue and soak the crusts a little, then I use one of those combs. I feel it doesn't pull on the hair as bad.

That’s what I do with my little girl! She won’t let me trim her nails, but she sits nicely while I removed the eye boogers! It must feel good to have that gunk gone!

My maltipoo won't let me come anywhere near her eye goop. If it gets bad, I have to use a warm washcloth to loosen it up first and hopefully it comes off without her trying to bite me. 🤷‍♀️
