No. Even if someone chooses me, I will still choose myself. I am my favorite person. I prioritize myself, and I will always pick myself first no matter what. That is not selfishness, and it is not because I have no other choice. As long as I am in this body and living my own life, I will never let myself feel unloved by someone else when I can choose to love myself. The moral of this is: don’t wait for someone to choose you. Don’t just stand there hoping someone will pick you or believing you are someone’s favorite if you cannot even recognize your own worth.
