I had my thai in a plastic pot with tons of drainage holes in the bottom and sides, super chunky mix, and only watered after it had been completely dry for a couple days. Still got bad root rot 😭

Agree this is definitely what works best. Iv learned to also water them like this in a seperate bowl or container so I know I’m not leaving a puddle in its decorative pot
