people don't even know the whole story but they all up in arms...and I'm not saying this is the case here..but we live in a country where minors are commiting serious crimes and terrorizing neighborhoods and the cops could not give two shits...

Now, I do not know what transpired here. I only saw a portion of a video posted. This is my take on the matter. What is more important? The adults who seem to be white or the alleged children,whom we cannot identify on race or the alleged crime they committed? Sometimes, all kids need hidings, if it cannot be provided at home. I grew up in the eighties. Just my 2 cents

Yes, there are always 2 sides to a story but there are also other circumstances to be considered... for example the volatile race relations in this country, they should have known better that this will end up a race issue. They could have taken the kids to their parents or the cop shop to sort everything out. Either way, they are in hot water whether they felt its justified or not l.

What if the " race" was reversed? Still not sure what 'the kids' race' is, but just thinking. What would the outcry be then. We as South Africans,have a painful past. The majority of our citizens try to get along and yet we as a nation are expected to turn a blind eye when our kids have done wrong . Yes,they could have taken them to the police, but no lesson would have been learned. Whoever these kids are ,maybe they learned a lesson,unless the 'parents ' put it in their minds that they are the victims here. My 2 scents.

I don't see Any white's Shouting For The Death Penalty to be brought back.... Crime is a problem in SA ......couple of years ago I think in was in 2014 a Man was sentence to jail for more than 10 years, also in Oudtshoorn for "stealing a peace of cheese " the judge was Daniel Boks ,if a person can get 10 years+ for stealing cheese....certainly thy can get Also a jail sentence
