yes, its common. I only drink lighter content alcohols like maybe a glass of Prosecco, and even then ONE small glass. we really shouldn't be drinking after surgery bc of this

It’s the mass amount of sugar so fast, and alcohol combined. I can’t drink because I immediately get sweats and all dizzy

im 2 years PO gastric sleeve and I dod that the first time but afterwards downed 9 shots of 1800 and felt good

It doesn’t take much alcohol to cause inebriation. Our systems absorb it faster. Is that the first time you’ve had alcohol since surgery?
