I’m over here teaching myself how to build built-ins, none of these walls are plumb, and yes — I know my technique isn’t textbook. But that’s kind of the point. We’re learning. We’re trying. We’re figuring it out as we go. I’d rather be cutting 2x4s and plywood and gaining confidence before I ever touch hardwood. Every crooked wall and miscut board is part of the process. And honestly?
