I used many of the words from their job description in my cover letter and a few in my CV. It takes tiiiimmeee to tailor CVs to each job application 😭 got my dream job after 4 months!!!

Another tip, add a bunch of keywords relevant to the job you're applying for and make them font size 0. the AI will read them and say you're a 100% match! can even copy/paste the job description to guarantee

put the job description in font color same as the background and very small and in a place where noone will select it accidentally. their ai isn't smart enough to ignore it completely

Recruiter here of a smaller organization - between 150-200 employees. We don’t use a filtering system for applicants. Have a current, updated resume, and if you want to spruce it up even more, use language comparable to the job listing. If you have relevant experience it stands out better that way. If you don’t, highlight how your skills of previous jobs apply to the one you are applying for. Also please update it for every job!!

I had a prospect someone referred once and she never got through. When I asked HR to send me her resume in order to schedule an interview they told me she was flagged by the automatic software and rejected.
