I’m a labor and delivery nurse and the best thing about Covid was the moms and mils who couldn’t come by to tell the new mom how she was doing everything wrong and didn’t need an epidural.

I find it bizarre that you guys over the pond are anti blankets for babies. ive always used blankets for all 7 of my babies inc my 18mth old. saddles and sleepsacks are just not pleasant to use

Postpartum advice comes from every direction 😅 I was so overstimulated by opinions that I ignored how off I felt inside. Puffy face, zero steady energy, digestion a mess. I thought that was just motherhood now. In a women’s support chat someone shared Eat Like a Woman Protocol (author is Loren Green). I tried it quietly and I’m 27 lbs lighter now, belly flat most days, confidence back. Lowkey feels like hidden wisdom for new moms.

Apparently my mom had 3 very easy babies that just slept through the night in their crib, in another room since newborns… I say she always been a heavy sleeper and didn’t had any baby monitors back then, so she probably just slept through us crying 🙃
