If their behavior aligns with their communication it’s on us to regulate our nervous system. If their behavior does not align with what they’re saying, your nervous system is alerting you. It takes a lot of self regulation to know the difference.

What if the person goes on two week vacation and just disappears, you see them updating stories and posting pictures, but they are not answering or texting you at all. 🤷🙂 I do think it says everything about their priorities.

That’s called prioritization, and it absolutely has merit when you weight it against behaviors and habits. And should absolutely be used to Judge someone’s interest in you. But judging based on this alone isn’t enough to dismiss interest.

I understand them being busy. Then they make a time to call you at the end of the day whether it’s 15 minutes 10 minutes or five minutes.

It does mean they aren’t interested in you lol. We are emotional creatures. Things we are interested in we naturally pursue. If you can go all day without talking to somebody you want, then youre not really interested lol

Yea but it’s when they DONT tell you this before hand it leaves you over thinking. Saying you’re busy from the beginning is what needs to be communicated.

I have a phone addiction - I literally lock my phone away for 8 hours a day in a physical lock box. I literally can’t check my phone so idk if they texted. It’s helped me so much with texting anxiety and regulating my nervous system

I very much disagree with this because if I’m starting a new job and my coworker who is supposed to be training, me says they don’t have the bandwidth to help me. It’s not my job to regulate my nervous system. I think if you’ve been dating a while, that’s fine but when you’re just trying to get to know someone and they say this, they’re obviously not as excited as I am
