I’m following this video but my icon on my machine to adjust the tension looks different it shows like this and when I tap it nothing happens so it won’t allow me to change the tension! Any idea why?

What thread would I use in the bobbin if I wanted a colored thread that matches the top thread? Don’t they need to be different weights?

What can be causing the fabric around a design to ripple? Do you think that is tension related or is it related to how tight the fabric is on the hoop?

What are the small white round discs on the spool holder for? I got a pe800 off of FB marketplace and it came with them but not sure the purpose of them

In my machine settings it has the option to set a tension that I can set to like …. -2, -1, 0, 1, 2… I’m not sure what that’s for and what to set that to?!

Are you supposed to check the tension on different colors or if you get all the same brand would they all be the same? I’m having trouble when I change colors in a design it seems like the tension needs to be adjusted. I’m very new and just learning through tutorials so it could definitely be user error.
