That’s a real bummer for sure. Unfortunately this is just part of the joys of owning a project car. I would personally dig deeper to figure out why this may have happened. It’s an easy route to replace the damaged components, but not knowing why it happened could result in the same issue or worse taking place. Hang in there Buddy, theses things will happen.
