They seriously need to think about actually putting some sort of budget / talent into this because it’s part of what made LEC so good. Take or leave the games, sometimes that was trivial, but everything together was what made it so good. And now that there is hardly any of that, it just doesn’t pull as much in. I don’t watch as much as I used to, if at all, because of this on top of the level of the games. I would still watch mediocre games if the content / vibes / production was there behind it

Honestly, its kinda sad. With all due respect as a long time LEC viewer since 2015 these recent years have been kinda bland. I can kinda understand not doing some things because of budget problems but not doing some simple projects ( that dont need a lot of things to pull off) that would actually benefit your league is crazy. I would say nowadays broadcast is too concerned with some random people getting offended by some things. Anyway, thank you for still trying to make it interesting with the limited resources you have. Respect you and the team a lot for that

Its kind of unfortunate, because I think the co streamers tend to do the best when they can bounce their personality off the content in the main stream, but if we lose the main stream content the Co streams will also suffer

It’s honestly sad to see this downward trend in content production. Good thing you positioned yourself smart as a freelancer and didn’t tie everything to LoL alone. It really feels like Riot’s strategy over the past few years has been to squeeze out maximum profit with minimal investment - even if that means losing the identity that once made it special. People aren’t stupid. They remember what it used to feel like, and they can see how things are now.
