We went out for dinner & drinks, afterwards he told me he lived with his sister and her children. He invited me back to watch a movie, not long after getting there I excused myself to use the washroom. He stayed downstairs making drinks. I came out and was confronted by his very angry "sister" who turned out to be his WIFE! The screaming woke up his neices/nephews who were actually his kids 😳🤯

I plan the date- we grab some tacos and go sit by the ocean. I drive for the date- go to pick him up and he’s wearing only a Tshirt (Canada in March). I suggest he grab a hoodie and he insists he’ll be alright. Time comes to pay for the food, he takes numerous steps away from the counter so sure, I pay. While waiting for our food he asks me to move across the country with him. In the car, with our food in tow, he 1) tells me I should have gotten my car detailed 2) asks me if I have any snacks. I give him a protein bar and he says it tastes bad and I should keep more snacks in the car. Also waves it around saying “so all you do is sit around eating candy bars?!” We get to the beach and shocker- he is cold and asks for my sweater. Instead of being on a date it felt like I adopted a toddler

Served in the Canadian forces, and after a year of divorce from my ex wife I decided to ask a fellow military member who is a woman from work out on a date. Seeing as how it was my first date in over a year, I was severely anxious. Got a little rumble belly, but drank some pepto and went and picked her up. Ten minutes into the date I realize it’s not nerves but full on food poisoning. Sitting at the table I was soaked in sweat, shaking from a fever, excusing myself to the washroom every five to seven mins. Finally she asks “are you okay”, to which I reply “I don’t want to lie to you so no I’m not okay. Pretty sure I have food poisoning”. She ended up taking me to the hospital, and I was put on an I.V. drip. I gave her money for a cab and she left. We never spoke again after the date.

There’s probably worse but he took a call from his wife. Not ex wife, not separated, just wife. He told her he was out with the lads in front of me, like I was in on it. I very much wasn’t.

Okay so he took me hiking for our first date. It started off cute. Then he started getting big headed saying he “knew every path in the park.” I was like… ok Bear Grylls. He decides we’re not taking the normal trail and goes “just trust me.” I already had a voice in my head like hmmm I don’t think so… but I went with it. Tell me why we end up in sinking MUD. Not dirt. Not a little puddle. But full on mud pit moment. I literally lost my shoe. Gone. Claimed by nature. So now I’m trekking BACK UP the mountain with ONE shoe like some off-brand Cinderella while he’s trying to act like this is all part of the adventure. And after all of that… after I’ve fought for my life and dignity… this man goes, “probably not the best time to ask for a kiss huh?” 😭😂 Sir. I am missing footwear. I’ve never questioned love more 😂😭 To be fair, it makes me laugh many years later. 😂

Worst first date: we sat at a table for dinner and it lasted 45 minutes. Because he didn’t ask me one question about myself, and told me all about how everyone around him has unalived themselves, how his ex is the spawn of satan, and many more “I’m a victim” stories. Could. Not. Leave. Fast enough. Told me after how we had a great connection. Sir, I didn’t SPEAK at all 😅

I'm an atheist. I told him. He says "yeah religion isn't important." I get in car: holy water in cupholder, rosary hanging, mini-bible AND Jesus on dash. He had his hand on my upper thigh in 30 seconds. IN FRONT OF JESUS!!!

He did all the sweet talking for weeks and weeks about what we were gonna do, everything was perfect. And then hours before texted me to say he can't do this and cancelled. I hadn't dated for years and years, my radar was broken, I should have seen it and didn't. Lots more but, that's the gist.

Took me to the mall food court for taco bell where he told me at length about how awful his mom was to him growing up then wanted to walk around and help him buy clothes so he could dress how I liked. I felt so bad for him but it was so DEEPLY uncomfortable.

Got picked up, went to the beach, he asked if I was hungry, I wasn’t. He said he was and asked if I had my wallet; I left it in his car, he made me go back to his car to get it and I paid for his meal. A whole charity case

she showed up already drunk, complained to the bartender that the music was too loud, then too quiet, complained that the food was taking too long (10 mins btw), insisted on coming to the bathroom with me, tried to sit on the same side of the booth as me, and kept insisting that she'd drive me home after (while drunk btw). I went to the bartender paid the entire bill and left. Bartender told her I dipped. she texted me after asking if we would see eachother again.

we agreed on an ice cream and book store date. 1. we didnt get ice cream. 2. we went to the bookstore, didnt do anything there, 3. finally just decided to go drive around 4. ended up in my highschool parking lot 😭 and he asked to kiss me. (this all happened with a raging migraine which I ended up in the hospital for an hour after the date) we never talked again after that, and he blocked me

went on a date with someone I spoke to for weeks for him to sit there all night and talk about how he wants to sign up for a Married at First Sight type of show to find himself a wife because a tv production team would be more capable of finding someone tailored to his exact needs 😁
