At some point we have to stop comparing the islands in the Caribbean for their food, music, language, and culture in general and learn to appreciate the stories, resilience, and adaptations from each and enjoy them all.

I don’t like that we pit our cultures against each other. Each island has something different to offer. For me I’ve been eating food from my island my entire life and while I love it I’m always open to another cultures food. I’m like the island trifecta…born on one island…grew up in Miami…and love to travel! My palette is well seasoned.
