Canadian- that is Quebecois. outside of Quebec we're taught a cross between France French and Acadian French. In college my prof would constantly say "in Quebec youd say (a Quebecois term) and elsewhere we say (France French version). Canada has more than one dialect of French

The only « wrong » comparison there is « char /voiture ». « Mon char » is the equivalent to « ma caisse » or « ma bagnole »
