They’d always pick the olives, just because Regulus liked to, really, and give the best ones to eachother. It was like a tradition. When Sirius heard he was dead- his baby brother- he just wanted to go back to that olive tree. To sit with Regulus one more time. To give him all the olive trees. But before he could, he went to Azkaban. 12 years later, when he got out and was forced to hide in that wretched house, he saw that olive tree. Nearly dead. Like it was trying to join Regulus. Sirius did everything he could to save it. But when he died, it was left there. It rotted away until it was nothing more then a few scattered olives in the grass. Dead.
