In regards to build quality and safety... Princess Di's driver survived. 140 mph head-on into a concrete column. The only person buckled up. Crazy car.

Still have my 1995 S420. Don’t drive it in the winter because of northern NY salt, but drive it regularly from April to November. Best car I’ve ever owned and I’ve been driving for 54 years.

I special ordered my s320 brand new in 1996. Drove it for 6 years. Nothing compares since to the quality and over engineering put into this car. The double pain windows is why the car is so quiet. Perfection!

The memories of going to Aristocrat Motors as a kid just came FLYING back. My mom would take her ‘86 300E there for routine service. I’d beg to go with because that meant I could sit in the S-Class on the showroom floor. Always so soft and luxurious 😂

She was still alive 😔 she died later in the hospital during surgery to fix her torn pulmonary vein. If she was wearing a seatbelt she would have had a 80% chance of survival.
