I don’t understand getting uncomfortable with doubles in general… I’ve been in fandom spaces for years and that’s a very new thing and imo it’s kinda selfish. You don’t get to claim a fictional character as yours just because you get jealous of someone also liking the same fake person

i honestly think it might be due to situations with like… you seeing yourself in diff clothes in the mirror ykwim… i don’t personally experience this cause i don’t kin anyone with alternate selves so that’s just a guess
