@allegedlyreportedly: IT IS NOT ALL MEN AND THIS CASE PROVES IT I understand why some people feel that way, especially when certain types of cases dominate headlines. However, after years of covering crime stories I can tell you the reality is more complicated. I’ve reported on women who committed horrific acts, men who were victims, and situations where allegations fell apart when evidence didn’t match the claims. The case involving Peter Colombo is one of those examples that shows why we can’t rely on generalizations instead of facts. What do you think about Peter’s story, and his settlement? #FYP #Crime #TrueCrime #NotAllMen #Lawsuit
Of course it’s not literally all men. The logic is that as women we have to be wary of the possibility that it could be any man. If you were in a room full of snakes and 2 were venomous, you’d be wary of them all - same principle

Wow, that’s so sad & I’m glad he won! The administration in that district is clearly incompetent!!! I don’t think he was awarded enough! I hope he still has a job & they issued a public apology & statement clearly him of everything!

It’s actually infuriating beyond comprehension that when we want them to treat the accused this way to protect a victim, they couldn’t care less. But when it’s a false allegation, suddenly they’re all about the victim. It’s like they get it wrong every single time on purpose.

NOT ALL MEN.
My son was falsely accused. He's in the military, where you're guilty until proven not.
After losing his reputation and almost losting everything, he had to hire a $10,000 attorney.
He was finally cleared with his licenses reinstated because it was discovered she's a "serial accuser" and DEI hire (my words - theirs was "unable to qualify") who did this "serially" to force quick transfers from stations she was unhappy at because she wasn't able to advance, and even given a bump in rank once "for her trauma."
I'm so glad Hegseth is getting rid of DEI in the military.
This woman destroyed several men's lives. Luckily, my son could afford the best attorney to fight for him.
Military won't revisit the other cases because they are already closed AND.... wait for it....
SHE'S STILL ENLISTED and has faced NO repercussions.

Fucking duh it's not actually all men but you really think a couple stories like this one means there isn't a serious societal and systemic problem here? Come on. Are you also going to argue there isn't a problem with the treatment of black women in our medical system just because some of them don't encounter issues with getting treatment?
