I mean ive had not much wrong with my resume itself in terms of formatting but yeah last yr I had 3 interviews for 500 applications and like maybe 3 OAs. This yr at ~200 applications, 1 interview, 0 OAs lol

I basically got the same advice I think formatting is very underrated once your resume passes ATS + I have one more tip on metrics: > Good metrics > no metrics > bad metrics. What makes a good metric? Context and specificity. "Improved user experience by 20%" is obviously BS. "Increased average monthly site visits by 8%" is better - bonus points if it logically makes sense that whatever you said you did actually led to that metric. In my opinion, once you figure out how to frame a metric properly, the actual number itself doesn't matter that much.

Sometimes you’ll get an interviewer who picks one of your skills or languages and will ask you the most insane trivia that you wouldn’t know unless you went out of your way to memorize it, and act like you’re a fraud or a liar for not knowing literally everything about that thing.

i disagree with the skills/languages section. If I see it filled up ik it’s likely bs. Besides ATS is generally matched to the job desc so there’s no need to spam things that aren’t relevant.
