What would Steve do as LLM’s emerge? He would create the best experience for LLM ecosystem leveraging apple products! He knew with his instinct that you cannot/nor should, try to control software innovation, but can, and should, build connected product experiences people enjoy through superior design, only few in tech know how to do.

The internet was just becoming a thing. That's what Jobs is talking about here. Not that Agents were bad, but connecting everything with this technology and leveraging that was way more valuable to the world than automating a single person's tasks. I'm sure if you asked Jobs this question today, now that everything is connected and the headroom he talked about has been filled, he would give a very different answer.
