I think it’s better to be up front when describing this app, it will turn people off learning that the audio is AI generated, but it’s important not to “bury the lead” in comments. People shouldn’t have to ask you to find out as it’s such a divisive decision that matters to many people. Should be advertised on the tin

I found this app through BookTok here lol Halfway through The Will of the Many and have been using Bookscape with it. I sometimes struggle to focus on just reading, and I couldn’t justify buying both the audiobook and the physical book, so I tried this instead. It actually helps me stay with the text way more than white noise or classical. Early on there was a rainy chapter with matching rain audio that sold me on the idea. Haven’t noticed tons of super specific scene matching after that, but the overall vibe still fits the book really well and feels immersive without distracting. Upgraded to premium and really enjoying it so far. Such a cool concept and excited to see it evolve. Huge kudos 👏📚

I don’t understand. how is this different than queuing up some ambient audio on YouTube? Where does the music come from? How do you decide what to play? Why does everyone else in these comments seem to know what’s going on here?
