@hicarsondogss: I can’t believe it’s almost March and Cassie is still here 😔 she’s had only one meet and greet since she arrived. And it didn’t work out not because of anything she did wrong, but because the peoples dog growled at her, and they decided not to move forward. Cassie’s dog assessment actually shows she was playful and social, she just got overwhelmed after a while. Because of that, the shelter is recommending she be the only dog in the home. Not a requirement though. Cassie is only 3 years old and is one of the happiest dogs you will ever meet. She is so full of life despite living in a cage. She LOVES toys, she will chase them forever if you let her. She’s spunky, silly, and so much fun. And when she’s done playing… she’ll melt right into you. She loves to cuddle, to be close, to just exist with you. Cassie may be added to the euthanasia list this week.
