@elite.recruiter: 🚨 AI Panic Is Officially in the Boardroom ☕️ Let’s spill a little tea. Yes, the technology is moving fast. No, organizations are not transforming overnight. But the fear inside companies? Very real. When work that took hours now takes minutes, employees aren’t just excited — they’re nervous. And leadership is quietly grappling with what this means for roles, productivity, and headcount. My take is simple: Ignore AI → Career risk Use AI blindly → Also a risk Use AI strategically → Massive advantage AI isn’t your replacement. But someone using AI better than you might be. I’m Deepali Vyas, your Elite Recruiter. I tell you what they won’t. #EliteRecruiter #corporatetruths #CareerAdvice #AI #futureofwork
I use AI all day, and we’re years away from it replacing jobs. I think tech companies are using AI as an excuse to do lays offs rather than replacing workers.

Have you ever used AI? It should stand for Almost Intelligent.

What I don’t understand is I’ve been worrying about the white collar jobs disappearing for two years. I’m not alone. Why did this article break the camels back?

As an HR professional of 40 years, I agree with you 100%. I use it in my work every day and encourage others to do the same. On the flipside, I’m so thankful that I’m retiring in July! 😊

AI is not very good. anyone who works with it will tell you. the higher ups are the ones that think it's amazing as they never learned to do any of the tasks in the first place. They are just finding an excuse to fire people is all.

Any AI SME will tell you the capability curve is flattening. Every bit of hype and claims of jobs being wiped out is coming from executives who need to figure out how to make AI profitable. The money circle is small and more over inflated than anything historically. Most AI companies will bust. Most corporate AI initiatives and AI products will fail miserably. I build and use agents every day, they are powerful but unreliable and non deterministic which means many use cases are a non starter. It’s fancy phrase completion based on statistics, it simply is not intelligence in any form no matter how great it seems. C suites are clueless about the reality. Stay the course and don’t fall for the hype, it simply isn’t sustainable and will all balance out soon enough. But yeah, there will be a mess of enterprises who bought in and got too deep and disappear.

Absolutely. I’ve been doing the work of five roles coding, learning & development, marketing, technical writing powered by AI.
While others were still trying to figure out the tools, I was delivering outcomes. Fast. I’m not “taking advantage.” I’m leveraging leverage. At this point, I’ve built an entire business using AI without a team. That’s not luck. That’s strategy.

Their fear is there is no leadership pipeline. AI is a game changer but it's not full on doom and gloom.

You are joking of course. I use AI a lot and it enables me to do more in a shorter period of time, but it gets things wrong and it needs correcting, nearly all the time. It’s great as a first draft (sometimes) but needs lots of work.
