My battery died on a hot day last summer and I asked 3 white men for a jump so I could drive across the street to the auto parts for a new battery. All 3 said no. The first Hispanic man I asked for help jumped my car and made sure I made it to the auto parts store.

One time, my mom had a flat tire and we had to pull into a strip mall to assess the damage. She didn’t have a spare or money to replace it. OUT OF NOWHERE, a group of Latino men appeared, told her they had a tire and that they would change it for her. When she tried to pay them, they refused her money. To this day, I think they may have been angels.🥺
