Legal drug users (e.g. medical marajuana) get imprisoned because impairment isn’t a consideration in the law, only detectability. Addicts clean for years whose fat stores release trace amounts of a drug periodically can also be done. You can follow the law, be unimpaired, drive safely on the road and still get done for drug driving under the current laws in NSW.
