great when ur in a fancier setting where ppl actual care more abt technique and the subtlies of a flavor in a drink over just getting drunk but when ur in a setting where ppl just care abt getting drunk as long as its cold and they get their drinks fast this does not rly matter ( from a bartender who works in clubs)

respectfully disagree, sure some of shaking is mixing but most of it is really for chilling. You wanna shake HARD, break the ice cubes every time you move basically. The ice cubes alone in the shaker mix the drink plenty, even shaking in a linear motion 🤷🏻‍♂️
