worked in all major bubble tea chains, during chagee also they told us the drinks that dont allow less ice is because they balance out all the taste perfectly including the portion of the ice and it plays a role in ensuring it isnt too sweet smth like that la besides the cost to produce also. liho also i worked for before and same reason some drinks we simply cannot alter less ice because recipe calls for it exactly and it will be too sweet. One of our major reasoning also for those drinks that cannot be altered is "Big boss say cannot" hahaha cost price la even macd i worked bfr told us less ice = more drink volume so we were told if customer order standard must be ice 2/3 filled smth like that
