i hate when people hate on the makeover without knowing it’s purpose like it’s there for a reason, her changing was like a symbol for her starting to open up and talk to people and also she liked the makeup, she said she did but the scene where you can actually tell she really liked it was deleted and yes i agree they could have done something different than making her “basic” but they didn’t

The whole movie is about the characters stepping out of their comfort zone, and the stepping away from ideas others assign them. And it’s so crazy to me that people WANT Allison to stay in the preconceived notion they made of her, that goes against the whole message
