To clear up confusion: Red is for EVERYONE on Chinese New Year Day regardless of zodiac sign or element. The Nian legend applies to all of us - red brings collective luck and prosperity during CNY. Element-specific colors are feng shui advice for the rest of the year, dependent on your sign. But wearing red is never considered unlucky, it’s about balance
