@paul_mckenzie05814: This is Captain Rommel B. Sandoval, known as the “Daredevil” of the 11th Scout Ranger Company, Philippine Army, a Medal for Valor awardee. During the battle to liberate the city of Marawi, Captain Sandoval led from the front. In a desperate fight to rescue his trapped unit and push back enemy forces, he chose to stand his ground, fully aware of the danger. His unwavering courage and devotion to his men ultimately cost him his life. Through this selfless act of leadership and sacrifice, he was awarded the nation’s highest military honor for gallantry, the Medal for Valor. In tribute to his heroism and legacy, one of the Philippine Army’s newest armored assets, the Sabra Light Tank, was named in his honor. Today, the Sabra Light Tank stands as more than just a weapon of war—it is a symbol of Captain Sandoval’s courage, leadership, and enduring commitment to defending the nation. His spirit lives on in the soldiers who continue the mission he gave his life for: to protect the country and its people. #captainrommelsandoval #PhilippineArmy #rangersleadtheway #medalforvalor #tribute #sabralighttank #legacyliveson #fypシ #highlights #followme #bonscueph
