I used to work in the same building where George was published. One day I got into the wrong elevator my floor was 50th floor his elevator bank was higher, like 96th floor….because I was late and the elevator opened, I walked in and JFK JR was right behind me!! I was shook. He looked at me and said, Good morning, how are you!? I said, well I’m looking at you and I just realized I’m in the wrong elevator. I felt so dumb but he said were you running late ? I said yep -I laughed nervously..he said well I’m sure I will see you around…have a good day…don’t sweat it…if you’re boss gets mad tell him you saw me😂 we laughed. He was so much more beautiful in ❤️🩵person FR. I cherish that memory! I did see him several times after that..I was the wrong elevator girl 😊

I met him and Daryl Hannah on the island of Palau in 1993. You could tell their chemistry was off. He was so down to earth, though, and extremely gracious. He played beach volleyball with us all afternoon.
