Hey can you explain the difference between welding up and down on vertical I was taught always weld up I assume I was wrong because you’re welding down

I understand you because I'm going through the same thing. Most people in this profession don't want to help, and some even see you as a competitor. When I was learning, they wouldn't even let me watch them weld.
