I’m sorry, but anybody who has an issue with this, what exactly is your issue? How does another person making sandwiches for her family affect you in any way shape or form? If there are certain ingredients with certain smells, then absolutely I can understand that, but it does not sound like that was the case so I genuinely just don’t understand why people feel the need to put their nose and other people’s business when it does not involve or affect them.

Why not just have them made prior to getting on? Just keep condiments and other stuff that would make sandwich soggy off. But I'm for being food for long flights.

It would have been smart to preassemble the sandwiches and just get small packs of condiments for each person. Doing all of that seems like a PITA on an airplane, but hey, she has the right to do it.
