THE KNOTBOX :
For his first three retwists, we alternated between barrel twists and two-strand twists as protective styles to keep his locs protected and allow them to develop calmly. During the second retwist, I also supported the loc process with a crochet needle to give the locs more hold and structure. That was the only time I used crochet, all the other retwists were done using the locksmith and comb-coil methods. And now, after 6 months: Beautiful, thick, fluffy locs and an even length all over his head 🔥
