I have watched and never commented. Some may say it’s “shady” but I was refused the ability to record. even though it was for a liver transplant and I literally couldn’t keep everything straight in my mind . I had family go to every appt, and never had malicious intent, I just couldn’t remember. I didn’t ask after that. I just did. I have my whole journey now good, bad,ugly and very blessed.

I like the voice memo app on iPhone because it will make a transcript for you. You don’t have to transfer it anywhere to make the transcript.

I live in the state of Arkansas, and no one has to get permission to record any conversation, as long as the one recording is a participant in the conversation.

My brother recorded all of his during his cancer journey. The app will let him pull up a summary of the appointment. Or a full transcript. The chemo brain is real. So having a solid source to refer back to was very important.
