OKAY. here are some tips from me, who has been in a lot of talking stages/ rls.! so i start the conversation with usually ‘hey, hii, or hello!” then i ask them how they are , or if it’s near the end of the day i’ll ask how their day was. if they say good, ask them if they did anything fun. if they say yes, and hopefully tell you what they did that was fun, start asking questions about the activity. if after you ask them how their day was, if they say bad, ask them what happened that made their day not good. hopefully then they will start talking about problems their day had, then you can talk to them about that. and once that gets boring, you can just be like “random question, but what’s your favorite band?” (as an example) you can really ask what their favorite anything is, like band, artist, movie, show, song, food, etc. if they say one of those things that you relate to, start a conversation about that. if they mention something that you’ve had an experience with before, tell them that story!! and always remember, don’t be scared to ask questions!! most people love talking about themselves, so ask them about themselves 😌 reply with any questions 🤍
