I am off ATM, I work in Welfare and they are implying it’s a capability issue when I am AUDHD /signed off with anxiety- and they don’t give enough support work for the level of trauma I deal with . They want a meeting on Friday while I am off and I’m worried what I should and shouldn’t say. I’m a professional but I’m in autistic burn out.

I raised a grievance of how I was dismissed at work (disability inequality and inappropriate behavior), the director just voluntarily liquidated the company and started a new one just a few months later💔

What no-one tells you is unless there is a mechanism to pay your legal fees, you have to pay for tribunal legal fees yourself. Find out if a union provides this coverage.

So who does their work whilst people are off for ages? Is it fair if the work load is completed by others? How is an employer supposed to cope with people being off for weeks? I completely understand that people are ill but just thinking how are employers supposed to cope?

went through this dismissal capability due to being off with stress anxiety and disability. caused by poor management and adjustments being removed.said business couldn't sustain adjustments. but they wouldn't payout if went to court.

Similar has happened to my husband. They’re blocking him out of work and ousting him now he’s returned and trying to get him to leave. He was off sick a few weeks with stress due to their behaviour and receives treatment and counselling for his mental health long since.
