I think lots of people are annoyed more by parents that don’t parent in public. I agree that kids should be taken out earlier and taught to behave. I took mine everywhere also except where not appropriate. I also taught them how to behave. Babies and toddlers get a pass for being uncomfortable on a plane. The people who don’t take kids out of the room when the babies are crying. When my daughter was a toddler I had a wedding I was in and I brought a family member with to watch her during the wedding and reception. It’s all about respect.

My sisters sister in law (her husbands sister) is getting married and has asked for a child free wedding but also asked my sisters daughter and son to be part of the wedding party, her daughter is 2 and son is yet to be born (due a couple weeks before wedding) my sister upset bride because she told her “I’m not going with my children, I can not control their actions and I think you deserve the wedding of your dreams” now my sister is “keeping the family apart” and is the bad guy because she does not want to travel a large distance shortly after giving birth and respect a child free wedding request.

Is true that we can't have a child free world, but a plane is not a public place. Is like a restaurant. Personallt I don't mind children, I always fly with earphones, but a popular airline might be able to afford to stablish routes with child-free flights.

I am 72 and can tell you in the old days a child should be seen but not heard is true. When you went out you were not to speak unless you were spoken to.

I am a child free adult on purpose. I would love more child free events, especially that are affordable. But my overstimulation at a grocery store is on me. Yeah some people need to get their kids behavior more under control, but kids existing is not the same thing. Also I am an adult and keeping my emotions under control can be hard, and i have many more years of being a human than children.

As a mom that had to travel with a 7 month old think about how the mom feels when the baby starts crying. We are already stressed enough & the crying makes us feel worse. I was lucky everyone was understanding. What was supposed to be a 3 hour layover changed into a 7 hour layover. Our flight was last to leave everyone seen my son play, sleep, cry, everything all over went well. As soon as we got on the plane & sat down he started screaming & crying. He was tired it was 10pm. As soon as we landed I was the first up & apologized over & over. Thank GOD everyone was so understanding. They even let me first off the plane 🥺🥹

A flight is public transportation. Kids are allowed on public transit. If she wants a child free flight, she can charter a plane the same way she could order a car service.

As a mom, if child free people wanted to pay extra for child free spaces more power to them honestly I’d be willing to pay extra to have a child free vacation including the flight idk why that’s so upsetting to some people wanting child free spaces doesn’t = wanting a child free world

my cousin was having a child free (she didn't want kids running around) event but gave me permission to bring my daughter (5 months old) because I was nursing her only request, if she cries leave which I would have done anyway

there's a huge difference between a private event like a wedding, and a public space like an airplane. if you want a guaranteed child free flight, go on a private airplane

One place that I hate that kids are allowed is Breweries, and I hate it because I see those parents drinking..then getting behind the wheel? No way, it shouldn’t but it angers me anytime I see that.

I started having my babies when I was 20...I am now 54 with no children at home. We tend to choose restaurants that usually aren't populated with kids because we prefer the silence. But I would never expect my world to be completely child-free.

As much as I love a kid free trip/resort I do think some of yall be mad at kids for no reason. Child free transportation is wilddd but if yall are willing to pay extra for it who am I to judge 🤷🏽♀️
