Once during a war game in the finnish military I noticed a squad enemies advancing towards our position because of the light from the night vision. it's very visible during a night with heavy cloudcover. and I wasn't wearing nvgs at the time

I have friends tell me if you look directly at someone while wearing nvg they can see through the tube and see the light on your eyes but I don't see that happening here is it gen dependent or just false?

Why it is not ”watertight” seal to the eyes, so that it does not glow from the side?
