@adhdwithjennafree: I really do get intense about this work (I try to stay regulated about it lol) because I feel like I’m being gaslit! Ok so we know ADHDers are dysregulated but we’re still just going to give surface level strategies? If you’re wanting to do the deeper work to make things easier grab my free ADHD Regulation guide as a great place to start #adhd #adhdtherapy #adhdwomen #adhdadults #adhdcoaching
I’m working so hard on this at the moment. Honestly feel like I need a month is sensory deprivation tank or on a mountain somewhere

I run 10km a day (increases neurogenesis in the hypocampus), meditate for about an hour (i had to start out at 30 seconds at a time and work up) and do things that make me uncomfortable because the more I live in the uncomfortable the more comfortable I feel. building that anterior mid-cingulate cortex.👌Also knowing I exist 1000 different ways in the minds of those I meet, each person's going to see me differently because of their personal bias. The people who matter are myself, my wife and my kids all the rest is just noise and people will always think they know best for you even if they can't do what's best for themselves. Also you can't change or modulate the reactions of others you can choose how you react. ADHD is incredibly hard but there are many things we can do to help ourselves and not everything I mentioned will work for everyone but you can find stuff that works for you.🙂🙏

I love this so much. The fact that Cptsd looks exactly like adhd in adults. It’s wilddddddd that we don’t atleast consider teaching regulation

I don’t think my psychologist knows anything about ADHD. It’s so disappointing
